There is a lovely countryside pub within walking distance from the house, a common opposite to walk on and Mid Herts Golf Club just down the road. Wheathampstead Village, a lovely traditional village, is a 5 minute drive away with local shops, cash machine, pubs and restaurants. There are lots of lovely countryside walks from our house.

We are close to Welwyn Garden City, Harpenden and St Albans, all with lots of shopping, restaurants, bars, leisure facilities and direct trains to London and beyond. Also Luton Airport is a 20 minute drive away.
